DOB, Driver on Board, or Driverless, is commonly known as removing the light source. However, this does not mean that the LED has no light source at all, it is just a new driving method that is different from the traditional Power IC.
DOB LED lights are LED lighting systems (LED bulbs or LED fixtures)
DOB LED Light is LED lighting system (either an LED bulb or an LED luminaire) .
The manufacturing principle of DOB light board:
It combines a light engine with an integrated onboard driver. DOB is short for "driver". In traditional LED lighting systems, the drivers are usually separated from the LED components and fabricated on an FR4 printed circuit board (PCB). This configuration is based on the consideration that the LED driver is primarily designed as a switch-mode power supply. SMPS drivers typically use bulky, expensive, and unreliable reactive components such as inductors and capacitors. Using reactive components requires a dedicated FR4 board that provides sufficient routing layers for component interconnection. In an integrated lighting system, the considerable size of a typical SMPS driver requires sufficient space within the lighting system to accommodate the driver circuitry. In addition, reactive components such as electrolytic capacitors are sensitive to temperature. Remote mounting mitigates these components of thermal stress imposed by LEDs.
What is DOB technology?
Professional LED lighting systems - especially those that control the light - ensure high-quality lighting while reducing energy consumption. Therefore, in order to maintain the high quality and reliability of the lamps, we use driver-based (DOB) technology power adapters.
The DOB lighting driving mode is a new LED driving mode, following the traditional switching power supply mode, which directly rectifies the AC mains into DC and then controls the LED current through the IC, so that the LED can output constant current within a certain range to drive the LED lamp beads to emit light.
