Ningbo Sunshinelux Lighting participated in the first phase of the 133rd Canton Fair from April 15, 2023 to April 19, 2023.
It is reported that this Canton Fair is the first time in three years to fully resume the offline exhibition,
a total of 20 exhibition areas such as household appliances, building materials, sanitary ware, hardware tools,
more than 40,000 enterprises applied for booths, more than 5,000 high-quality characteristic enterprises,
more than 9000 new exhibitors, all enterprises from more than 220 countries and regions around the world.
Both the exhibition space and the number of exhibitors have reached a record high. Worth the attention of
the lighting industry is that a total of 563 lighting enterprises with 22560 lighting products in the
Canton Fair offline exhibition all appeared.
In the face of such a large scale, the organizer of the Canton Fair requires the exhibitors to arrange
the exhibition 4 days in advance. According to the previous exhibition arrangement time is one day
before the exhibition. We do not know whether it is to promote the economy of Guangdong after
the epidemic or to worry that too many exhibitors will cause chaos, so we are asked to arrange
the exhibition so much days in advance. No matter what the reason is, our company went to arrange
the exhibition 4 days in advance. The arrangement of the exhibition and the obtaining of the exhibition
certificate are all smooth. Now we are looking forward to the exhibition tomorrow.
In the morning of the first day, there were not many customers. I guess many visitors were waiting
in line to get the visitor's pass. According to others, many people waited in line for more than
3 hours to get the pass. Organizers didn't know this year was going to be so hot, they didn’t
arrange enough staffs, and some jobs couldn't be done well. However, the second day began to
be much better than the first day, going into and out the exhibition hall became much more orderly,
greatly shortening the waiting time. Since the first afternoon of the day, there has been a large flow of people.
We are looking forward to meeting some big customers and high-quality customers, so as to boost the sluggish foreign trade market.
Because I am a buyer, I spend less time in the booth. My main task is to visit the exhibition, so as to understand the latest
trends of the industry, learn from the latest products of peers, and accumulate the resources of high-quality material
suppliers in the industry. There are two pavilions in the lighting exhibition. I spent one day carefully walking around to check
exhibitors’ products and another day visiting the solar energy exhibition area. Because of the presence of so many foreigners,
the exhibitors presented their latest products, such as new floodlights, working lights, best-selling solar lights, panel lights,
down lights, plant lights and new LED strips. These products attracted many customers to stop and ask questions at the fair.
Of course, I also saw some rare lamps before, such as intelligent desk lamp, fan lamp, magnetic suction lamp, energy storage
working lamp, etc. In the lighting exhibition hall, I focused on floodlights, working lamps and solar lamps, which also inspired some
new ideas, and I also looked for some accessory factories, such as glass, wire, waterproof joint, etc. It has paved the way for our
future development of new products and optimization of procurement resources.
In general, this Canton Fair not only showcases new technologies, new products, new thinking and new trends,
but also injects new elements such as smart light and new energy related products. In the past, intelligent lighting
was the most popular, but this year, new energy-related products should be the most popular. Because of the
large-scale energy crisis in Europe caused by the Russia-Ukraine war, this year's energy storage power supply
is particularly popular, with some energy storage working lamps, solar wall lamps are more diversified in style,
and those with human infrared sensors are more popular, and there are many milky white covers.
The detachable separation of the solar panel from the lamp body is also a highlight. Solar wall lamp is
more made up of plastic, in order to save costs, enterprises make more in line with the market needs of products.
There are more and more styles of solar floodlights, with lens or without lens, plastic or aluminum die cast, are very popular.
Our salesmen got about thirty foreign trade customers every day on average, and there are a lot of customers
from Europe and South America. Canton Fair is a platform for our company to receive some new customers and
meet old customers we have not seen for many years, which enhances the communication and affection with
customers. Through on-site negotiation and product experience with customers from different countries, our
company also has a deeper understanding of the product demand in overseas markets. Next, we will further
